I am a very novice user of SQL OLAP cubes.  I've been building a cube
succesfully for some time, but now find it's dropping data.  The data
is in the fact table and has matches in all the dimensions, but just
doesn't appear in the cube.

I've tried re-building all the dimensions and rebuilding the cube, but
no joy.  The changes I have recently made have been to do with sorting,

and the easiest way I have found to do this (it's a very complex
requirement) is to concatenate numbers into one large number, so I am
wondering if this is the problem (it is defined as decimal(20,8),
although it is always an integer.  I did try dividing the values by
1000 and this had no effect.

3012971308 is getting included, but 3012971315 isn't.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to try and establish what the
problem is?  There are no error messages, it just doesn't have all the
source data in the cube.
