Wondering if someone cn help me out with some conceptual designs
This is for a claims system
If we have a that contains division, in a hieachy fashion, using serial path
and adjacency model
We also then have a Policy table
I want to relate divisions to policy. Now the thing, if a parent division
(in the table hierachy) is related to a particular policy, all child nodes
(division) should inherit that replation. So that if I view the data from
the parent it will show me the policy or that division, but if I want to
view any of that divisions child nodes, I would also see the policy.
Now the added complexit is that if a particular child node has a differnt
policy, it should then overwrite the inherited one of the parent
