Hello,

I can't figure out the line or limits between developers and DBAs, i for
myself do everything, from creating the DB and all its objects, tables ,
stores procedures , views , logins , roles , permissions , etc. to preparing
backup/restore jobs to designing the client application using VB.NET , i
can't figure out how a database administrator can interfere in this schema
and write store procedures for example without first understand the whole
database design AND client application design, yes my workload is relatively
small , about 50 users and database size is 1 GB, but the concept remains i
guess

or is the DBAs role is only for maintenance issues , backup/restore , index
monitoring , DB size monitoring ?
and why DBAs don't like developers as i realized from some articles i read?

Thank you
Bassam
