I have a stored procedure that must execute a stored procedure on a linked
server.  If the linked server is there, no problem.  But if the linked
server is missing for some reason (like it's down), the calling SP bombs
out.  I have not found a way to trap this in the calling SP so it can
continue with what it has to do.
