Where is the SQL Server Management Studio?Try as I might I can't find the download tonight.
** MSDN Subscriber dowloads would be where? ** CTP choices to use with I'm confused about it SQL Server Management Studio and the SQL Server 2005 Express Manager the latter of which seems to be SQL Server Management Studio Lite. At the moment I'm probably better off with the manager that has the easier GUI. Your comments about either manager in comparison to one another? <%= Clinton Gallagher SQL Server Management Studio can be found in SQL Server 2005 Developer
Edition (and I recommend you April's CTP). On the other hand Express Manager is a free tool designed for SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. Sql Server 2005 Express Edition and Express Manager are free downloads and Sql Server 2005 Developer Edition can be downloaded from MSDN Subscribers Downloads or can be ordered free (with Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2, If you are in EMEA zone) from "The Visual Studio 2005 Beta Experience" http://www.microsoft.com/emea/msdn/betaexperience/ As a comment, Sql Server Management Studio is a very powerful tool and Express Manager cannot be compared to it. But if you don't like command line administration and need a free tool Express Manager will be a great choice.
