Help with Update and loggingIs there a way to run an update without it increasing the log size. I have
to do this on 2 million records and log file grows from 6GB to 25GB. Thanks in advance. You cannot prevent logging when you are updating. Consider doing the update
in chunks and backing up the log frequently. -- Tom ---------------------------------------------------- Thomas A. Moreau, BSc, PhD, MCSE, MCDBA SQL Server MVP Toronto, ON Canada ..
